Here we go again, getting ready to say goodbye to another year - and what a year it's been for so many of us. A whirlwind of changes, growth, and transformation in mind, body, and spirit.
This issue is dedicated to that very theme: transformation and the journey it takes to get where you are today. It's no small feat, especially as a woman navigating a world that often challenges those who dare to stand out. But we know the rewards of being unapologetically yourself are worth it.
Spice Girl
I'm thrilled to share that we have Melanie Brown - yes, Mel B - gracing our cover. For me, this is a real wow moment. In her interview, she opens up about her resilience and how she overcame a difficult chapter in her life. Her story is truly powerful and inspiring, and I am sure you'll enjoy reading more about it.
Starstruck
And speaking of inspiring things, I'd like to share one of my summer highlights: I had the privilege of attending the British Horse Society's Changing Lives event, where HRH The Princess Royal herself made an appearance. The event and the BHS's mission left a lasting impression on me, but the cherry on top was meeting one of my favorite actors, Martin Clunes. He was as warm and down-to-earth as you'd imagine, and yes, I was a little star-struck!
Inside this Issue
But let's get back to our December issue. We have worked hard and prepared so many amazing things that it's going to be difficult to mention them all.
We discussed different ways to raise our vibration and its importance for our overall well-being. Then, we shifted to a more practical perspective of the topic and explored how our surroundings shape us, from the spaces we inhabit to the wallpaper trends that could define 2025 - it is all about learning how our environment affects our well-being and how small changes might have a significant effect.
On a similar note, Mind and The Works teamed up to explore crafts that will aid your mental health this winter. From simple DIY projects to creative escapes, we're highlighting ways to nurture your well-being this season and keep the winter blues at bay. And, in case you're feeling really crafty, we have created a list of top DIY trends in the UK, where you can find lots of inspiration for creative projects that will keep you busy and entertained.
As we are talking about transformation, we were wondering what trades are capturing the imagination of young people today and what could become the next big thing in today's world. Therefore, we curated a list of 10 trades that most young people would be interested in studying - it's a fascinating insight into the next generation's aspirations and, who knows, perhaps a good source of inspiration for you to join a certain trade.
New Year, New Start
It's time to say goodbye to 2024 and welcome 2025.
Here's to new opportunities, fresh starts, and the adventures ahead - 2025, here we come!
